| The IPC Strategic Plan 2019-2022 outlines the focus and priorities of the International Paralympic Committee as the Movement’s governing body for the next four years. The plan follows the overall philosophy and vision of the Movement and is based on the IPC Handbook and deliberations of the General Assembly. A full version of the plan can be found below. | |

| As a signatory of the World Anti-Doping Code (WADC), the IPC remains committed to a doping free sporting environment at all levels. The IPC, together with the International Federations and the National Paralympic Committees, established the IPC Anti-Doping Code to prevent doping in sport for Paralympic athletes, in the spirit of fair play. The IPC Anti-Doping Code is in conformity with the general principles of the WADC. |

| In 2003, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) developed a Classification Strategy with the overall objective of supporting and co-ordinating the ongoing development of accurate, reliable, consistent and credible sport-focused classification systems and their implementation. The IPC Classification Code is a direct result of recommendations made in this Strategy. The IPC Classification Code was approved by the IPC 2007 General Assembly in the Republic of Korea in November 2007 and is effective until 31 December 2016. With the significant growth of classification, the IPC Governing Board began a revision of the Code in June 2013; as a result of this, the IPC General Assembly approved the updated 2015 IPC Athlete Classification Code in November 2015 in Mexico. This Code is effective as of 1 January 2017. |

IPC ACCESSIBILITY GUIDE |

| The development of an Accessibility Guide is a major step, in order for the IPC to set a philosophy, share best practices and establish specific technical guidelines for the design of facilities and services that need to be in place in order for a Host City to deliver an inclusive Games. The Guide seeks to provide information and inspiration to the OCOG and the Host City authorities, charged with the responsibility of staging the Games. It provides expert guidance and detailed technical information based on tried and tested best practice, to enable the delivery of truly inclusive Games for all stakeholders. |
