GPC PROTECTION CONFERENCE 2019
The Global Protection Cluster (GPC) and its Areas of Responsibility (AoR), led by the United Nations Children’s Fund, the United Nations Population Fund, United Nations Mine Action Service and the Norwegian Refugee Council will join together at the GPC Protection Conference under the theme of Child Rights Convention at 30. This year, GPC will also be joined by the inter-agency ProCap and GenCap stand-by rosters. We expect 250 participants with an overwhelming majority participation from our 27 field operations. Partners, academics and donors will also be joining us at the event. The GPC Protection Conference will take place on 23-24 May 2019 in Pullman King Power Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand. The Child Protection AoR, the Gender-Based Violence AoR, the Housing, Land and Property AoR and Mine Action AoR will have their retreats on 20-22 May 2019 in Pullman King Power Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.
