Great news from Australia! Refugees who've been spending years in limbo on temporary protection visas will now have the opportunity to apply to stay permanently in the country. The UN Refugee Agency has long advocated for this type of permanent protection.https://t.co/sX6JP9ximn

2022 was one of the deadliest years on the Andaman Sea with 3,600 refugees adrift at sea and 340+ dead or missing. We need strong regional action for search and rescue, and safe disembarkation of people whose lives are in danger. This is our call at this week's #baliprocess meet.
