The Working Groups of Capacity Development and Minimum Standards have joined up for the first CCCM Tuesday in 2022 by coming together to offer a virtual training event on how to use the Minimum Standards in Camp Management in CCCM training sessions. 

The Global CCCM Cluster is pleased to invite you to a webinar on GBV Risk Mitigation in CCCM: Best Practices and New Approaches, which is organized as part of the 16 Days of Activism campaign.

From coordinating with a gender network to conducting safety audits to implementing community-led activities with refugee women in Cox’s Bazar, GBV risk mitigation in CCCM can take many shapes and forms. Colleagues from Bangladesh, Somalia and Yemen will present how their teams are working towards this objective.

On Tuesday 30th November, 2PM Geneva Time (GMT +1), the CCCM Cluster Capacity Development Working Group will be hosting a Webinar on Capacity Building, Monitoring, Evaluation and Follow Up of Capacity Building Activities. 

The session will be divided into 2 sections and highlight experiences, challenges and best practices from field operations.

NEW DATE - CCCM Tuesdays - Community Coordination Toolbox: new tools and experiences from practitioners

In September 2020 NRC launched the Community Coordination Toolbox (CCT), a practical guide for facilitating the engagement of displaced women and marginalised groups in humanitarian planning and decision making.

In a humanitarian crisis, camps and/or camp like settings are often the only places where internally displaced persons and refugees can seek protection and assistance. To showcase progress in professionalization and accountability within CCCM towards these affected populations, we are pleased to invite you to the launch of the official platform for the Minimum Standards in Camp Management handbook.

CCM Tuesday’s are back!
As the Covid-19 travel restrictions remain in place the CCCM working groups are reviving their monthly webinars to build our community of practice and improve field work. Just like last year, CCM Tuesday’s will bring people together from all parts of the world to exchange learning on key topics and  develop program further develop emergency response capacity.
 

The meeting time has moved from 14th Jan to 21st Jan.

A few updates – the copy editor Jenny Claydon is finishing her work this week and the contract has been submitted to the publishing company River Valley Technologies. We are sooo close to having our Standards ready and in our hands to use. Let’s get our workplan finalized before this year ends with a final meeting this coming Monday at 15:00 CET.
