Germany has claimed 236 medals at the Paralympic Winter Games: Gold 98 - Silver 71 - Bronze 67.

Germany has collected its 236 medals since it first participated at the Albertville 1992 Paralympic Winter Games.

Germany won its most medals at the 1994 Lillehammer Paralympic Winter Games, 64, including 25 gold medals.

Germany is in fourth place on the Winter Games' all-time medal table.

It has won medals in alpine skiing (121), cross-country skiing (72) and biathlon (43).

Gerd Schonfelder has won 22 medals, all in alpine skiing, including 16 gold medals. No other athlete has won more than 19 medals in a specific sport.

Only Norway's Ragnhild Myklebust (27) has won more medals than Schonfelder's 22.

Schonfelder is the only athlete in Paralympic Winter Games history to have won gold medals at six Paralympic Winter Games, from 1994 to 2010.

At the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games Germany won 15 medals (G9-S5-B1).

Anna Schaffelhuber won five gold medals, all in alpine skiing, most of all female athletes at the Sochi Paralympic Winter Games.
