The UNHCR Northern Europe factsheets give an overview of the 2017 data concerning asylum-seekers, refugees and stateless persons in the region.
Please note this is an old version of the Northern Europe factsheets. The most recent version is available here.
How many asylum-seekers arrived last year to the different Northern Europe countries? Who were they and where did they come from? How many were granted protection in 2017 and how many refugees arrived under the resettlement programme?
The UNHCR Northern Europe factsheets – covering Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden – provide an overview of the 2017 data concerning asylum-seekers, refugees and stateless persons in the region. The fact sheets allow for understanding and comparing of the numbers of arrivals, resettlement cases, the percentage and total number of people granted protection, as well as arrivals over the last three years in the different countries.
