LIVE! Broadcasting the Olympic Games
After Time and Sport, here is “LIVE!”, the second interactive documentary produced by The Olympic Museum.
It charts the main stages in the technological and social evolution that has opened up the Olympic Games to those watching outside the stadium: from the cinema screen in 1900, with the first delayed broadcasts of the Games, to the touchscreens of our smartphones today, with the Games so close you can almost touch them!
Broadcasting the Olympic Games is more than the story of technical innovations: the whole of modern history is revealed.
