The generosity of Australian donors in 2020 has echoed around the world. Here is a message from some of our colleagues working on the frontlines: those donations saved lives. We're here to #standwithrefugees in 2021. Will you? https://t.co/P1Th8EQaAZ

We've seen again and again that when you empower women and girls, you empower whole communities. See how UNHCR supports women and girls across the world: https://t.co/jXPUuGzoaN

Did you know nearly a quarter of #girls aged 15-19 worldwide don't have access to work or study compared to a tenth of boys the same age? We pledge to continue working to #empower girls to have equal access to human rights, education and health. https://t.co/hqfiCrzqtd

Only 63% of refugee children have access to primary school, & they are often the hardest to reach. Since UNHCR's partnership with Educate a Child began in 2012, over 1.2 million out of school displaced children have been enrolled in primary education. Such an achievement!

For best friends Habibah & Nasuma, the worst thing about school is the holidays. After missing out on so much, they never want it to stop! They're part of the Educate a Child project, which funds community-based learning to ensure refugees can still learn when forced to flee. https://t.co/SYJmkYY1IU

Innocent is a Burundian refugee living in Kakuma refugee camp who began a soap making entreprise in 2015. Now his small business plays a vital role in protecting the community from COVID-19, and he’s even giving his products away for free. @BBCNews https://t.co/uB8qanl2mn

For Mireille, the best #Christmas present was sleeping in her own bed after the #Beirut explosions in August. She was finally able to return home after UNHCR and local partners rolled out repair and reconstruction operations. https://t.co/uztkGxYlij

That #smile. We just love this photo. Taken in Iraq after Syrian refugees were forced to flee their homes after conflict broke out in October 2019, it shows that joy can be found in any situation. #withrefugees https://t.co/OMvOCbIJQ7

This Syrian refugee girl can return to school in Za'atari refugee camp now that restrictions have eased. Students & teachers are taking every precaution, wearing masks & using hand sanitiser. These children can get back to school and keep learning to secure a better future. https://t.co/ftRDvR8Mfd
