Today on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the UN, we have a beautiful biodegradable fresco on the lawn of our UN HQ in Geneva. The “World In Progress" by artist Saype reminds us of our duties to the future and to nature ?? https://t.co/K4V01QYklw

#BREAKING: 2021 resettlement figures released. 1.4M refugees will need resettlement but massive dearth of places. This year only 57,600 slots made available to UNHCR. Resettlement is not a solution for all refugees but for those most at risk or in danger. https://t.co/ayZJNTBGU8

This #WorldRefugeeDay I hope that the pain of 2020 causes us to reflect, to be a bit more kinder and empathetic. To appreciate that each of us is as vulnerable and precious. And to stand in solidarity and better support those among us that have been forced to flee their homes. https://t.co/2wJRyO7tOc

2020 made us vulnerable, anxious and scared. Plans were interrupted, hopes dashed. We tried to get by day by day, trying to stay safe and alive. For the first time many of us experienced a tiny fraction of the adversity, insecurity and uncertainty #refugees face on a daily basis. https://t.co/m9Ul62INvV
