I burst into tears watching this video. These past weeks & months I've cried many times - from grief, fear, loss, anger, anxiety, joy, awe & hope. Strangers singing together, ? swelling with pride & belonging. This is the America we are working & fighting for, the ??I❤️ https://t.co/wyC0VrwQi5

80M people are displaced by conflict & persecution. A number is nameless & faceless. This is Rina, I met her in Bangladesh in 2017. Her father was killed, her home burned. She’s smiling bc she started school & she & her mom were finally safe. She isn’t a number #WorldRefugeeDay https://t.co/h3Rf5zz44E https://t.co/G3vZKyOiuy

@ProfessorEA Thx for a beautiful, evocative piece. As mothers, our love is indeed armor, keeping our children alive, free & safe. I lived in Eritrea & imagine the quiet strength your sons inherited from their #refugee father along with your grace to seize that freedom everyday. https://t.co/H30gDBJ3HH

"I know what it's like to live in a world that's unsafe and unstable." #Refugees are a vital part of the #COVID19 response but they also want to create solutions for a better world now and tomorrow. Celebrating the talents, skills, hope and bravery they bring #WorldRefugeeDay https://t.co/YdsyNQHTJy

As we work towards equality, diversity & inclusion around the world, it is critical we remember #LGBTQI #refugees fleeing discrimination & persecution searching for safety & the chance to simply be who they are & love who they love #PrideMonth #WorldRefugeeDay https://t.co/MzWRbOh2pA

Many #LGBTQ refugees become displaced because of discrimination and persecution. This landmark ruling is a great example on how to eliminate discrimination in the workplace & gives us more to celebrate this #PrideMonth https://t.co/NVVsXtGeye

"Love is home." I was lucky enough to host an IG Live with #LGBTQI #refugee scholars & activists @TNDixson & @Renee_Dixson to launch #PrideMonth I was so inspired by their experiences, their advocacy & activism, but most of all their love. ?️?❤️?????=??️? https://t.co/zQBeP3utMp

Older refugees are already at greater risk when they're forced to flee their homes & everything they know. The threat of #COVID19 makes them even more vulnerable. Older generations carry our history & culture, they nurture, teach & love us. @Refugees prioritizes protecting them. https://t.co/IQMyqZqhh4
