This is great news. And as I understand it, due in no small part to the appeals of Tanzanian community members who highly value this dynamic common market and were equally disappointed to see it close 4 months ago. https://t.co/o7IPGmWJos

There are so many unmet needs for #Burundi refugees throughout the region - schools are overcrowded, clinics run out of medicine. But also so many opportunities to build on @Refugees resilience. Mahama Camp in Rwanda is full of enterprising people who want to be productive. https://t.co/3SAorU1NCr

When we don’t have enough funds to cover the basics, our field colleagues are forced to make impossible decisions. Thank you to @helenachristensen for shining her light on what this means for #Burundi @Refugees. https://t.co/7W6ADb8nMC

@ChansaKapaya Yes, her family fled Somalia and lived in Dadaab refugee camp in Kenya for 4 years before resettling in the United States. She did not speak English when she arrived as a young teenager and learned it by watching TV. Now she is a Member of Congress!
