GPC Field Support Desk

The GPC support desk provides services to Protection Cluster coordination teams on protection and coordination queries. The support desk is an integrated service within the GPC Operations Cell. 

Users can submit their requests and receive a response within 24 hours during weekdays. The Support Desk is pleased to offer support in any area related to protection coordination, information management, advocacy and analysis, and thematic areas.

The support desk offers guidance, common resources such as tools, examples, peer-to-peer exchange, and country/context specific advice. The GPC ability to provide relevant and quality feedback to coordination teams is supported by the expertise of the GPC protection partners.

Individuals and organisation/agencies that want to connect and collaborate with field clusters are welcome to contact the GPC support desk. 

GPC Regional Focal Points

The GPC Regional Focal Points directly support regional and country level capacity of cluster coordination teams, and engage with our relevant interagency counterparts at a regional level. Regional focal points support the system-wide coordination for protection and collaborate with protection partners regional capacity to support country level operations and strategy. 

Regional focal points facilitate peer-to-peer collaboration between country level focal points, and monitor specific trends and operational dynamics in their area of operation. Regional Focal Points can provide country level surge support when requested.
