In a 24 September 2010 telephone interview with the Research Directorate, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of National Mobilization, Social Development, Gender Affairs, Non-Governmental Organisations Relations, Persons with Disabilities, Youth Affairs and Sports of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines stated that the women's shelter, known as the National Crisis Centre, is not yet open and that no date for its opening has been set. Further or corroborating information could not be found within the time constraints of this Response.
