Reuters refers to a Norwegian newspaper's report according to which "a Palestinian seeking asylum in Norway said Israeli agents asked him to kill a Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) official in return for money" (24 Apr. 1992). The source adds that the would-be assassin was supposed to kill the PLO official, Abu Nasser, in Cyprus in return for "a large sum of cash and safety in Norway or Denmark" (Ibid.).
