According to correspondence sent to the Research Directorate by a representative of the Punjab Human Rights Organization (PHRO), Amarjit Singh Shergill has not re-joined the PHRO, and has not been authorized to issue letters on behalf of the PHRO for approximately two years. The representative also indicated that the PHRO's current General Secretary is Amrik Singh.
