Please consult the attached excerpt from Immigration and Nationality Law Handbook for information on immigration rules for spouses and fiancé(e)s. Please also consult the attached excerpt from Statement of Changes in Immigration Rules (2 August 1993) which provides information on changes made in July 1993 to sections dealing with spouses and fiancé(e)s in the Immigration Act 1971.
