QUETTA, Pakistan – At least 12 people have been killed and 35 others injured in a bomb blast on a train in Pakistan's Balochistan Province.

Rescue workers are trying to extinguish a fire that broke out on three cars of the Jaffar Express train after the explosion, which occurred in the southwestern city of Sibbi on April 8.

No one has thus far claimed responsibility for the blast.

One day earlier, the Pakistani government said it had killed 10 Baluch separatists in an operation by security forces in Balochistan.
