According to an official of the High Commission of Uganda in Ottawa, a passport application requires the completion of Form A, called "Application for a Uganda Travel Document" and Form B, called "Citizenship Verification" (20 Dec. 2001). The completed forms must be accompanied by a fee, a birth certificate and four passport-size photos (ibid.). The identity of the applicant must be authenticated by a Recommender (ibid.). Processing normally takes a few days for both a new and renewed passport.
