Information on the above-mentioned topic could not be found among the sources consulted by the DIRB. However, the 6 October 1995 issue of AsiaWeek mentions a pro-Beijing Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong party. The party reportedly won seven seats in the Legislative Council (Ibid., p. 3).
