Information on the penalty an offender would face for escaping from prison could not be found among the sources currently available to the DIRB.

 According to a representative of the Ambassy of Côte d'Ivoire the Yopougon prison is located in the vicinity of the capital city of Abidjan (16 Nov. 1992).
