Please find attached a document that summarizes the history and activities of the Comité de Iglesias para Ayudas de Emergencia (Committee of Churches for Emergency Aid, CIPAE) (Human Rights Internet Reporter 1990, 406). The document states that CIPAE was founded in 1976 by the Catholic Church, the Evangelical Church of Río de la Plata and the Church of the Disciples of Christ, although it is currently comprised of the latter two churches (Ibid.).
