Information on the above-mentioned subjects could not be found among the sources consulted by the DIRB.
However, according to Central America Report, Nueva Trinidad in the department of Chalatenago was a dedicated area of concentration for FMLN forces under the 1992 peace accords (31 Jan. 1992).
Please find attached an AP media report on guerrilla activity in the region around Cerro Grande in January 1992 after the initial peace agreements were signed, and media reports on the discovery of clandestine arms caches in 1993.
