The infomation that follows was provided by the Committee for the Defense of Human Rights in Honduras (Comité para la Defensa de los Derechos Humanos en Honduras - CODEH) in a fax sent on 27 February 1997.

According to CODEH, Santiago Reyes was killed by two unknown individuals in a San Marcos, Octoepeque, market on 20 May 1990 (24 Feb. 1997). He suffered from two shots to the chest and abdomen (ibid.). The perpetrators have not been caught or brought to justice (ibid.).

CODEH did not find information on the killings of Armando Reyes and Tito Reyes. (ibid.).

The same source reported that a file was found on a Jeromino Martinez Reyes that indicated he belonged to a gang called "Los MS." However, no information was provided on his alleged detention (ibid.).
