Pakistan's military has accused India's main intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), of "whipping up terrorism in Pakistan."
The accusation came after a meeting of the top commanders of Pakistan's Army in the garrison city of Rawalpindi on May 5.
The conference was aimed at reviewing Pakistan's ongoing offensive against militants in the tribal regions along the border with Afghanistan.
An army statement after the meeting said the commanders had taken "serious notice of RAW's involvement in whipping up terrorism in Pakistan."
Pakistani Army officers often privately accuse India of meddling in Pakistan and Afghanistan, but it is rare for the military to accuse India's spy agency in an official statement.
India denies interference in Pakistan but accuses Pakistan of supporting militants who launch attacks in India and fight in India-administered Kashmir.
India also has accused Pakistan of backing the Taliban in Afghanistan.
Pakistan denies those allegations.
