The International Communications Coordinator of the Inter Ethnic Initiative for Human Rights Foundation in Sofia, a nongovernmental organization that works towards a harmonization of ethnic relations in Bulgaria, and engages in minority and human rights education, stated that the attached information on Edinstvo was extracted from a directory of nongovernmental organizations in Bulgaria published in Sofia in 1997 by the Open Society (21 Oct. 1998).

This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the Research Directorate within time constraints. This Response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
