Please find attached a translation of a 28 January 1997 letter from the Embassy of Ecuador in Ottawa. Included with the letter is a translated chapter from the Consular Handbook, published by the Ministry of External Affairs of the Republic of Ecuador, which provides information on the recovery of Ecuadoran citizenship.
