A Pakistani court has ordered that 100 opposition activists be sent to jail for two weeks for holding illegal protests.
Demonstrators gathered outside the court in Islamabad on September 13 to protest against its ruling.
The crowd left peacefully after a two-hour standoff with police.
Protesters led by former cricket star Imran Khan and Tahir ul-Qadri, a cleric, have been locked in a bitter standoff with the government for weeks, refusing to leave their protest camp in Islamabad until Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif resigns.
They accuse him of rigging last year's election which brought him back to power.
The confrontation turned violent in August, with thousands trying to storm Sharif's house and briefly taking the state television channel off the air.
