Sources currently available to the IRBDC do not provide any information on the current treatment of Jews in Bulgaria. The attached excerpt from Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, dated 13 December 1991, provides the most recent information on the subject. In addition, please find attached an article from The Washington Post of 31 December 1990. According to both of these sources, the number of Jews in Bulgaria is very small.
