Kosovo police have arrested four ethnic Serbian officials amid a row between Serbs and Kosovo's ethnic Albanian leadership over Serbian plans to hold local elections in May in some Kosovar areas.
The United Nations has already called the Serbian election plans illegal.
The four arrested men work for what's described as the Serbian parallel administration in Kosovo.
Kosovo police say the men, who are being held in 48-hour detention, are accused of undermining Kosovo's "constitutional order."
Serbia's government and Kosovar Serbs are against the territory being ruled by Kosovo's ethnic Albanian majority, insisting it is still Serbian land.
The ethnic Albanian leadership declared independence in 2008 and has been campaigning for broader international recognition of Kosovo, which has been supported by the United States and most of the European Union.
