The words to the first verse of the national anthem of Sierra Leone were provided by a representative of the Sierra Leone Cultural Society of Ontario:
We will exhault thee
Realm of the free
Great is the love
We have for thee
Firmly united
Ever we stand
Praise in thy name
Oh native land.
