No reports of the authorities prevent Copts from having private religious gatherings or prayer meetings in their own homes could be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate.
However, please note that according to Country Reports 1997, "for the most part, members of the non-Muslim minority worship without harassment... " (1998).
