The 1994 bomb killed 85 people.
World Jewish groups have denounced plans by Argentina and Iran to form a commission to investigate the deadly 1994 bombing of a Buenos Aires Jewish community center.
Argentine President Cristina Fernandez said the "truth commission" will include foreign legal experts – none of them from Argentina or Iran – who will analyze the evidence and make recommendations on how prosecution of the case should proceed.
Argentine courts have said Iran was behind the attack on the Jewish center, which killed 85 people.
Shimon Samuels, Paris-based director of international relations for the Simon Wiesenthal Center, said on January 28 that "forming a joint truth commission with Iran is a farce."
Argentina's Jewish community has also expressed vehement opposition to the deal.
The commission will have to be approved by Argentina's parliament.
