Kyrgyzstan announced it will open an embassy in Azerbaijan's capital, Baku.

Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambaev signed the decree on his country's embassy in Baku on October 24.

Kyrgyzstan's presidential office said the decree envisions that all necessary financial and other preparations for opening the embassy in Azerbaijan would be finalized in one month.

The decree says that the embassy will be established to boost further development of political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian ties between the two countries.

Azerbaijan's Embassy has been functioning in Bishkek since 2007.
