The following information was provided in a 6 February 1998 telephone interview with an information agent at Pearson International Airport in Toronto, Ontario.
There are no direct flights from Peshawar, Pakistan, to Terminal-1 of Pearson Airport in Toronto, nor to any of its other terminals. A "direct flight" is a non-stop flight in which the airplane may stop for refuelling purposes but does not pick up other passengers: in other words, passengers embark in Peshawar and disembark at Pearson. A person travelling from Peshawar to Pearson Airport would have to connect to another flight. The airline with which the person flies will determine the connection and the terminal at Pearson at which the plane will land. She added that the number of possible connections is "limitless."
The information agent stated that there are, however, direct flights from Karachi to Terminal-2 of Pearson Airport with Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
