In a 3 March 1998 telephone interview, a senior analyst with the European Bureau of the International Region of Citizenship and Immigration Canada in Ottawa stated that in 1997 Greek citizens were not required to obtain visitor's visas before travelling to Canada.

This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the Research Directorate within time constraints. This Response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
