PRAGUE – A student activist at Iran's Sistan Baluchistan University has warned of growing official pressure on students who have been active in the university's reformist Islamic society or students who work on student newspapers and other publications.

Kamran Jalili told Radio Farda on February 5 that a number of students have also been banned from entering the university.

Iran's largest reformist student group, Daftar Tahkim Vahdat (Office to Foster Unity), has also warned recently about growing pressure at Iran's universities in general and student activists in particular.
