A media report says police in Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina have arrested 15 people in connection with a massacre during the conflict in the Balkans.
The Associated Press reports that 10 people were arrested in Bosnia and five in Serbia in pre-dawn operations on December 5.
Prosecutors from the two countries, which were wartime enemies, told AP they cooperated on an investigation into the Strpci massacre of February 27, 1993, in which 19 men were taken off a train.
The detainees include a brother of jailed former Bosnian Serb warlord Milan Lukic, Gojko Lukic, as well as former Bosnian Serb army General Luka Dragicevic, who commanded the military in the area at the time.
The Strpci massacre was part of a conflict that left more than 100,000 people dead and millions displaced.
The AP report said the investigation is backed by the U.N. war crimes tribunal in The Hague, Netherlands.
