Information on this subject could not be found among the sources consulted by the DIRB.

However, the 5 October 1995 Foreign Report attachment states that Kuwait has decided to use "genetic finger-printing" to ensure absolutely the "authenticity of all applications made to establish parentage or obtain Kuwaiti citizenship" (8). Each applicant's DNA will be tested (ibid.). Additional and/or corroborating information could not be found among the sources consulted by the DIRB.
