A suspected suicide bomber has struck a town in the southern Yemeni province of Abyan, killing at least 25 people.
Medical and government sources said more than 20 other people were wounded in the August 4 attack on a funeral service in Jaar.
Reports said the bomber targeted tribesmen who had helped the army in their fight against Al-Qaeda.
In eastern Yemen, a suspected U.S. drone strike reportedly killed five members of Al-Qaeda travelling in a vehicle.
Officials said the attack happened near the village of Al-Qotn, in the province of Hadramut.
