At least 43 people have been killed and more than 100 wounded after two suicide bombings in a southern suburb of Beirut that is a stronghold of Lebanon's Shi'ite Hizballah movement.
Police said two men wearing suicide vests set off their explosives in front of the Mansur shopping center and Ain al-Siki store in Burj al-Barajneh.
The Islamic State group said on November 12 that it was responsible for the attacks.
Eyewitnesses said people rushed to the scene of the first blast and were helping people when the second explosion occurred.
There have been several bomb attacks in such areas of Lebanon since Hizballah began supporting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad militarily in 2011 in his fight against opposition forces.
The blasts come the same day that Syrian forces and Hizballah fighters recaptured the strategic town of Al-Hader from Islamist rebels in Aleppo Province.
