A blast has occurred outside an office of the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) in the port city of Odesa.

The explosion took place in Yevreyskaya Street early on September 27.

Reports said an explosive device had been planted near the building's side entrance which was generally not used.

The blast shattered windows in nearby buildings.

There were no casualties reported in the incident.

The Interior Ministry said a criminal case was being launched into the eplosion.
