According to a representative of the Embassy of Cameroon in Ottawa, a person born in Cameroon of foreign parents can obtain nationality if he/she applies for that status after five years of permanent residence in Cameroon (22 Feb. 1993).
No additional and corroborative information is currently available to the DIRB in Ottawa.
