Morocco submitted its second periodic report on the implementation of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) in July 1999 (UN 29 Feb. 2000). Morocco's second periodic report on the implementation of the CEDAW was studied by the Committee during its 29th session from 30 June to 18 July 2003 (UN n.d.). A copy of the second periodic report can be found on the CEDAW Web site at .

This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the Research Directorate within time constraints. This Response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
