According to an official at the Embassy of Armenia in Washington, Armenia does not yet issue its own passports. Armenian nationals travel on Soviet passports and have them renewed at Russian embassies abroad. He expects that Armenia will begin issuing its own passports within the next few months.

The DIRB is unable to corroborate this information at the present time.
