A Lithuanian military health official is being charged with spying for Belarus.
Raimondas Petrauskas, Lithuania's deputy prosecutor-general, told reporters in Vilnius on December 3 that a man with the initials A.O. is suspected of passing top-secret military information to Belarus's Main Intelligence Directorate for five years.
The 28-year-old, who is from the city of Kaunus, was detained on January 24.
Vilnius officials said last month that another Lithuanian citizen, arrested last year, had also been charged with spying for Belarus.
Deputy Prosecutor-General Darius Raulusaitis said last month that the suspect, whose initials are R.L., had worked at an aviation-related company.
Petrauskas said on December 3 that the two cases are not linked.
