Islamic State militants have beheaded a captive Lebanese soldier, images published on social media show.
It is the second Lebanese soldier to be killed in captivity by the group since it raided a Lebanese border town last month.
The men were among a group of 19 soldiers missing since the attack on Arsal by militants including fighters affiliated with Islamic State.
The group recently published videos showing the beheading of two American journalists as a warning to the United States.
Elsewhere, Syrian warplanes have bombed a bakery run by Islamic State in the city of Raqqa.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said 25 people were killed.
The group said the air strikes also hit a major training camp used by the insurgent group for a second day running.
The Pentagon said early on September 7 that the United States had begun carrying out air strikes near Iraq's strategic Haditha Dam – which has been under threat from Islamic State militants since June.
The U.S. Department of Defense said the strikes were launched at the request of the Iraqi government in order "to prevent the terrorists from further threatening" Iraqi security forces who control the dam.
