Two Belarusian men have been sentenced after being found guilty of spying for Lithuania.

The Belarusian KGB announced on its website on December 31 that two Belarusians, whose names were given as E. Kachura and A. Fenzelyau, were sentenced to eight and 10 years in jail, respectively.

The two were found guilty of high treason and spying for Lithuania's secret services.

Both men were arrested in March 2012.

No more details were given.

There has been no official comment so far from Vilnius.
