Russian warplanes pounded rebel-held areas of Aleppo again on September 28, continuing a major assault along with Syrian government troops and Iranian ground forces. U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power condemned Russian involvement in Syria this week, calling its actions "barbarism." (Reuters)
