Briefings and meetings in 2023

Since the first Global Refugee Forum (GRF) in 2019, UNHCR has convened quarterly informal briefings every year to discuss progress towards implementation of the Global Compact on Refugees and related pledges, initiatives, and global events. In the run-up to the second Global Refugee Forum in December 2023, UNHCR is also holding formal briefings to update stakeholders on the plans for the Forum.

Upcoming meetings and briefings in 2023

Further ahead in 2023, there will be the:

3^rd formal preparatory meeting for the Global Refugee Forum on 1 September;
3^rd quarterly informal briefing on the GCR on 18October;
4^th quarterly informal briefing on the GCR on 17 November.
