In Ukraine, UNHCR has offices in Kyiv (country office and field office) Lviv, Vinnytsia, Uzhhorod, Chernvitsi, Dnipro, Poltava, Odesa, and in Donetsk and Luhansk, in areas under the temporary military control of the Russian Federation. UNHCR’s hubs in Dnipro and Vinnytsia serve as important bases for delivering urgent humanitarian assistance and protection services to people living in the central, eastern, and north-eastern and south-eastern regions of Ukraine, including those heavily affected by the hostilities.
